“We were unaware of power outages during a two night stay. If we had known about it at time of booking we would’ve chosen another place. The shower head was leaking big time. Very difficult having water squirting all over the place while taking a shower. Was told by management power was going to be off from 9am-3pm and it didn’t come on till 3:25 and told it would be shut off again from 5-7pm again. “The Mermaid’s Pearl was a comfortable fit for my son (19) and me. It is located in a quiet complex with a beautiful view from the balcony. The studio is a perfect size for two people and was very clean. We enjoyed the local restaurant (Sudi’s) and the pool just outside the front door, as well as the short walk to the Safire Beach complex (local coffee shop and eateries on the beach).
