“I was looking for a mountain retreat/getaway for my husband and I while I had work in the area and found this hideaway. It is very remote from town, fishing was great, and the cabin was spacious enough for us. We even had "Harry" the duck greet us. She was so entertaining. The dock straight out the back door and the upper screened porch was the highlight. Take the boat out too! Like others, the shower is workable.The only con for me was the Wifi. I knew signal may present a challenge in the……

“No cell phone coverage very weak internet, many spiders in bedroom and shower, missing shower head toilet shut off faulty ladder on dock very loose grill and microwave not good overall this property needs a lot of attention before it should be rented”

“My husband and I visited the Firefly to celebrate our marriage and we had a lovely time. It’s the perfect place to cozy up with a good book near the fire. We also brought our dog, and she probably had more fun than we did running around the yard. Overall, a great stay and we would absolutely come back. My only suggestion would be getting some new cooking utensils because the ones provided are a bit melted and chipping.”

“This cabin was amazing! The bed was comfy. Lots of room in the cabin with nice little touches. Especially loved the fairy box! Cabin is at the end of a dirt road and is very peaceful, and close to neighboring towns for groceries and dining, as well as the tail of the dragon. Host is very responsive and friendly. Would defining stay again!! ”

“This property is beautiful and perfectly located on the lake with easy walking access to the marina. We spent a full week here and enjoyed every. moment whether we were hanging on the dock, exploring the lake by boat and paddle board, or exploring the local hiking trails and whitewater rafting. Highly recommend lake Santeelah and this property! ”
