“room was very clean.. asked for extra towels and we received them right away. breakfast.. eggs, potatoes, 2 strips of bacons, breakfast taco, waffle, bagels, butter, syrup, ... Coffe and milk and orange juice. good enoug of breakfast ... fun atmospher around the pool and food and drinks available... i and wife will be come back”

“The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is being renovated and is a work in progress. It's close to the beach, so keeping all areas clean would be nearly impossible. Housekeeping was non existent. We had to ask to have them empty trash and bring towels. The front desk was always quick to give extras or bring extras to the room. We spent 3 nights and breakfast was the same every morning, but there were several options...it just got boring by the 3rd day. All things considered, we would stay again……

“I stayed with mom (60’s) and ny niece (16) felt safe. The employees were all amazing! Helpful tips of the area and so friendly. Room was lil run down. Door hard to open but trick for ours was to pull then simultaneously push and turn the knob. Sink/showers had rust but commode was new. Beds firm, so for me I liked! AC was cold and hot water for showers was amazing too! Loved the location, away from pleasure pier traffic. We went to beach by walking across the street there’s stairs to use.……

“Kids said the bunk beds weren't comfortable. We bought dish scrubber to hand wash dishes. If they took the time to provide dish soap, how about the sponge?”

“We had a waiter in the restaurant that was just excellent and just so helpful with our kids. His name is unusual and he had just started working there and I do not remember his name believe it started with an a.”

“Its a quiet area and very walkable to the seawall and shops. Loved that the area is almost hidden so that traffic and late night activities aren't distracting during the night. ”

“The hotel is located across the street from the sea wall. Great location.”

“There is plenty of parking and they have a gate arm where you have to have a pass to get in. The property is very conveniently located next to many restaurants and the Strand. The room and the facility was clean and they were actually painting some of the hallways when we arrived. You can tell they try to keep the property up. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.”

“One of my favorite places to stay in Galveston! Canyon and Glenda made my stay very welcoming. Breakfast was Very Good. They were also doing upgrades on furniture while we were there. New Hideaway couches, New tables and dressers. I asked if new beds were coming. Not yet !! My room attendant I did not get there name, but they were Great also Making sure our floor was clean thru the week and new towels every day. Thank You All for all your hard work it made our family vacation THE BOMB! Also……
