“Overall I feel pleasant during my stay with friendly and helpful staff. The room generally clean and tidy. But I would be great if the air con can be cooler and didn’t expect need to remove my shoes before entering the stairs and no lift in this hotel but no worries, the staff will have the tool to help u to transfer your luggage of needed”

“Amazing! Very well maintained heritage building. Extremely friendly and helpful staff Uma! They use a pulley to pull luggage to upper floor - fun to watch and practically useful. Complimentary breakfast was tasty. The lunch and drinks at the cafe were also tasty and clean, we enjoyed a lot when hiding from the hot sunshine at noon time. Side note: stairs are steep due to traditional design, maybe challenging for elderly. Expect to take off shoes before going upstairs to room. Not a concern for……

“The staff there were super friendly and helpful just like expected, I love the pre dinner drink session and 24hours lounge. Understanding the house is a vintage property, the structure condition may not as good as the new built, however some of the hardware facilities were slightly disappointed. Like the bathing robe, and bed sheets. In general it was a present stay and definitely will revisit Penang. ”

“Very Chinese style hotel, staff are kind and helpful. Room are spacious with own access to the garden and pool. Every night has complimentary Malaysian desserts. Lovely leaves with comfort wordings written. Breakfast has several choices. Good in taste. Bathroom is relatively smaller with water drop from root right above the toilet area (Sinkeh room).”

“The TV is old and fuzzy, a throwback to the TV of yore. Pool is rather small, three strokes and it’s a lap. Staff was attentive though.”
