“We had a cozy stay at the Stone Cottage. Our hosts were very lovely and accommodating, and their very special dog came to visit us for a scratch each night. The surrounding area is gorgeous - even in what turned out to be a rainy couple of days. The sun came out long enough for a hike up to the top of the hill for a beautiful view of the Wairapa. The wood stove kept us warm, and the bath was a welcome end to each day. Looking forward to visiting again with family!”

“Upon arrival the property was tidy. The cabin was very cluttered and wasn’t inviting. The cottage is very well equipped although very cluttered. The main bedroom was very cramped with a large dresser taking up the space where suitcases could have been placed. There was random food left in the fridge. The bonus was the fireplace. Fire starters were available but no kindling. It took a bit to get the fire started but it worked well. Easy walk into the township. Many great places to eat. The food……
