“Excelente lugar cerca del parque y con gran vista al lago”

“I can appreciate that at one time, this was a great resort however, it is showing it's age big time. We had no TV and the restaurant was closed due to renovations. Our room was clean but the light in the bathroom wasn't working properly and the shower nozzle dripped while taking a bath. Bedding was very clean and it was just fine for our overnight that we needed to book asap. The staff were very friendly and accommodating however, it wouldn't be my first choice if we were visiting the area...

“Although an older hotel I found it clean and comfortable the 4 times I have stayed there over the past 5 or so years. The owner is delightful and very helpful. There is a lovely pool on site and lots of wildlife about. Restaurants are close by in Haliburton village as well as a Tim Hortons . Will be booking there again next year for sure.”

“The room was serviceable and reasonably clean. To me it seemed expensive for what it was, but maybe that's the market for the area. The host was a little difficult to track down upon arrival as there is no clear office, but it worked out fine so I don't have any complaints,”

“We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay.”
