“Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. There were cups, glasses and wine-glasses, and milk in the fridge. It was situated on the far edge……

“What an absolutely amazing place to stay for the night. Loved the warm fire on a chilly night along with the old record player, cozy bed, waking up to the beautiful birds singing and delicious fresh produce for brekkie. No detail has been spared; this is one of the best places we've stayed. A beautifully renovated old school, highly recommend!”

“Great location with beautiful views from the front rooms. Easy access to korumburra and scenic drives through to the Prom or Inverloch or MirbooIt was cosy inside with plenty of space inside and plenty of well fenced space outside if you have pets or young children. Beautifully decorated throughout. ”

“We loved our weekend getaway in the Chevy. Shaun and John were wonderful, generous, and helpful hosts, we spent a lot of time just admiring the beautiful views over the hills, and the horses were an extra bonus! We'll definitely be back - and in fact we've already booked for our two daughters to have a stay at they can experience it also.”
