“We were extremely pleased to have found this place and booked for a 4-night stay. It is about a 40min drive to Acadia National Park and initially we were a bit worried about the distance but quickly realized that the drive up and back was scenic, smooth and quite enjoyable. The view was incredible and our favorite spot was by the dining table where we could look out the window with the incredible view of the water. We also had a full moon one night and cracked open the window and heard the waves……

“Restored cottage overlooking the bay was a welcome treatment while we traversed the trials and tribulations of chemo with the love of my life. Immaculately finished, this home provided us a welcome respite sorely needed from Tennessee. Cora, Elizabeth and Pelican were the perfect hosts and provided us all the information we needed during our stay. Moonpie loved the walks to the shore and down the many less traveled roads adjoining us.”

“A nice comfortable home. Lots of comfortable seating. Very easy check-in. Quickly responded to our questions. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Walmart and Price Chopper nearby.”

“Absolutely beautiful setting very much enjoyed the location. Saw seals and bald eagles at the property. Only reason it’s a 4 and not a 5 is the bed needs a new mattress and the kitchen could be better equipped with things like decent knives and a garbage can with a lid.”

“This home had it all! We loved the big picture windows looking out to the water! Our girls are 10 and loved going down to the water and skipping rocks or looking for sea glass during low tide. The home had everything we needed to cook some meals and sleep comfortably. The location was great also! 40-45 minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor and gorgeous views along the way! We would definitely stay here again!”

“The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. We had 5 different generations of females on this trip. The house was very comfortable for all of us to relax and sleep. The neighborhood was so quiet. The outside space for a flatland Midwest person was absolutely wonderful. Sitting outside in the sun or fog was so peaceful and calming along with watching birds and seals. Wonderful place to stay on our Maine vacation.”
