“The lady manager greeted us on arrival, she was very friendly and helpful and bubbly which made a difference to our stay it mad us feel welcome, the only thing was there wasn't always someone on reception. The restaurant was nice but wasn't keen on the very large thick cut chips which were under cooked. And I'm not sure if the person serving us was a man or a woman...he spoke and looked like a man but had a dress on!!! Although he/she was pleasant and helpful serving us, but I think he'd been……

“The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“I was a little apprehensive when I found out that there was no front desk staff, incase there was an issue. But the owners were very responsive via text, and were lovely! The property is very well maintained, and I absolutely loved all the small details that they obviously were meticulous about. Great spot!!”
