“Clean, quiet, serene. Mary was gracious and accommodating, allowing us an earlier than normal check in after a long day.The pheasants were fun, the yard and gardens beautifully kept. A great out of the way location but still close enough to town.”

“It was the perfect place for me and my husband to stay for our honeymoon. I loved hearing all the Coqui frogs at night. It was so pretty and green. The owners were very easy to get ahold of. They were very quick to help when our oven stopped working. Definitely recommend staying here for a quick trip. ”

“This property was unique and we're so happy to chose to stay here.Pros: The views are incredible and the outdoor living spaces were very comfortable - in particular we spent a lot of time on the high top chairs, sofa bed, and two person dining table. The kitchen was fully stocked and operational with everything we needed. The bedroom was perfectly sized and comfortable. It was so easy to access Manini Beach (you can walk). By staying in Captain Cook you have a much more "locals" experience.……

“My partner and I felt like we really lucked out with this cottage! Location was conveniently close to Kona Airport, Kailua-Kona, and the west coastline. We had all amenities to enjoy our vacation activities, like beach towels, chairs and umbrella, and snorkeling gear. Check-in was very simple, and Andrew was very communicative and responsive to all our questions. Much appreciation to the host for this cottage!”

“Very nice two bedroom house about 15 minutes up the mountain from town. Great place to get away from the crowds but still close to the beach. Comes with very friendly cat which we loved to have around after ling days hiking and beaching. Definitely need a car.”

“This is a beautiful property and very peaceful and calming. We had excellent communication with the manager who really helped us by arranging a washing machine when a prior renter had broken the machine at this cottage. Also, we forgot a ring that has much sentimental value (it got mixed up in the bedding while we were packing to leave). The housekeeper turned it in and the manager contacted us immediately to coordinate it's return. We were already on our way to another part of the island but……

“Loved our stay here. It was the perfect spot a little off the beaten path that was a great home base for our adventures on the big island. Close enough to everything you need and far enough from the hoardes of tourists, with lots of little shops and spots to check out nearby. As for the space itself, it's super cozy and has an incredible ocean view from the screened in patio. Waking up to that view was one of the best parts of our trip. Would 100% stay here again.”
