We had our own large cottage that has a wonderful, quirky vibe & breakfast that you pick up on a large tray & bring back to your cottage! It was the perfect location, too, halfway between the river town of Washington & Hermann in wine country, both fun places to visit.”

“Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely.”
