“Our stay at the Oyster Cottage was idyllic. Clean with all the basic amenities you need for a peaceful yet fun and wholesome weekend stay. We stayed here with four adults and one toddler (2yo) and it was the perfect size. Spent evenings grilling, eating and playing games on the screened porch, watching gorgeous sunrises each morning and moonrises each night over Oyster Bay. “The cottage is super cute and we loved the quiet road and waterfront. Easy to get to Cape Charles and quiet! However the cottage wasn’t super clean upon arrival and we felt like we were staying at a relative’s home. Personal effects were all about- hats on hooks, photos, collections, lots of clutter if I’m honest. The cottage was cleaned up but not clean, I almost busted out the vacuum and went to work but I really wanted to simply enjoy time with my kids and mom. We made it work by moving……
