“We loved our stay in this cozy cottage! The windows in the back overlooked the York River and it is so serene. There was plenty of yard for our dog to sniff around and we loved watching the birds in the marshy area. Our host was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. It was very close to Yorktown. Would definitely stay here again!”

“I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house really topped it off! The house was incredibly clean inside. As an unexpected surprise, there’s an auto ice maker in the freezer, saving me from having to make a trip to a store with the kids for……

“Our stay was wonderful. Cottage is beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view from the screened porch was breathtaking. I was very impressed how clean and organized the cottage was. Anything we needed was there plus extra touches: s'mores kit, popcorn etc. I can go on and on. Communication with the manager was great, response to any questions were answered immediately. “NO hot water -----Kissing bugs in the bed-place was filthy-black ants all over the kitchen-owner made attempt to fix the hot water issue-dump trucks started at 5 in the morning on busy hwy 58---would not recommend this property.”
