“I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. Once inside you wouldn't think you were in a cabin on top of a mountain basically. Little small touches of decor inside and outside with plantings made it all the better. “Loved our stay at Old Mine Cabin. Adorable home with a fabulous view. The train startled us at first and by the end of the trip it was what we would miss the most. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. The fireflies were enchanting each evening. Proximity to the Shenandoah National Park was perfect for daily trail hikes. As well as a 10 min trip into town for groceries or dinner out. Luray Cavern was breathtaking do not miss!”

“We always have a wonderful experience here. The hosts are always amazing. The cottage is pristine and the kitchen is well stocked with basic needs and more. We love home cooked meals and like to bring our own supplies but it is always nice to have some backup options in case we forget something. We really appreciated the fresh eggs and ice cream for the kids! They provide towels, soap, and shampoo in the bathrooms as well as paper products and other hygiene items which is always convenient....

“Great house. It has great ambience and was clean. We loved being able to walk to things. We appreciated the coffee and tea bar. A couple of things to note. We threw out the creams in the container by coffee maker because they were bad. One was fully congealed. Also, the bathroom sink may need draino or something because we noticed it’s very slow to drain. Other than those couple of things, it was a great stay. We will be checking out by around 9:00/9:30am today. Thanks”

“We had the most amazing stay! The cottage is perfectly located near a stream. We enjoyed eating meals on the deck, listening to the running water. It was the perfect, relaxing spot for our family of five (kids ages 1, 2, and 5) to rest after hiking and exploring the area. The cottage truly felt like home. Anything you needed, they had it. It was also very clean. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Overall AMAZING! Thanks for a great time!”
