“Everything about this cottage was perfect for our trip. We had the pleasure of visiting the cottage and utilizing it as a spring board into DC, walked to the metro (.8 miles) and to our weekend event from there. The cottage has some unique (to us) amenities such as push button blinds... not something you necessarily see in Interior Alaska where we live. Communication was amazing, when a wicked storm passed through and reset the internet the hosts were on it to reach out and reset it. If youre……

“Quiet and comfortable, with everything you might need easily available (plenty of towels, blankets, etc; also soap, toilet paper, paper towel). We used this as a base for visiting Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. It worked perfectly. In the evenings, we saw deer, turkeys, and many squirrels. Fireflies too! It was a lovely mini-vacation for our family. Everyone enjoyed the variety of books and old National Geographic magazines in the evening. Wonderful!”

“After a short power interruption caused by a fallen tree in town, we got settled in. Very cute small house, with some great local activities. We hiked the loop and up the recommended nearby trail, explored the Grand Caverns and enjoyed the Alpine Goat Brewery. A peaceful and enjoyable stay.”
