“This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

“I love Truckee and this property was perfect for my 2 week stay. Really comfy beds, plenty of towels, close to everything and passes to the beach. Most of the time I was alone and I felt super safe. Plenty of dishes for when family comes to visi. I had a great time. ”

“Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there……

“Beautiful and well stocked home. Communication was quick and responsive. Very detailed map with great suggestions on utilizing the area. Trails, lake, local food spots. Amazing front deck to socialize, eat and relax on. Highly recommend staying here and enjoying all that Soda Springs has to offer.”

“This a fantastic house, especially if you have kids in your group!! We had eight adults and seven kids, ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Our stay was in August. We used both canoes, the kayak, and the paddle board every day! We also used several of the bicycles, some of the beach toys, and the beach umbrella. The foosball table was in constant use. And the kitchen is VERY well stocked with pots and pans, and several large cooking pots and baking dishes. Five kids slept upstairs in the……

“We had a great summer visit with our family of 4. House has a big cabin feel and is very functional. We loved the various decks and outside seating, as well as the direct access to the lake across the street. The road noise can be a bit loud, just a fact of any house along that stretch of the lake. We enjoyed our trip and would return.”
