Furthermore, the television was not working, and the bathtub was dirty. Do not let the low price be your deciding factor when booking a hotel; pay the going rate—even if it is a bit expensive—and be sure to check the reviews and star ratings. “There was blood on the wall in our room, it smelled like a dog kennel and the toilet was clogged when we checked in. They said they would bring a plunger right away, we didn’t get one until 12 hours later after calling three more times. The front desk staff were very rude. I’ve stayed in some nice Best Westerns, this was not one of them. I would never stay here again and not recommend it to anyone else.”

“Overall, found the staff to be very friendly and courteous; the only reason I was unable to give five stars was due to my room smelling like stale cigarette smoke, despite being a smoke-free room (no fault of the owners). The building is quite old, but appears to be maintained within reason. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected. For the price, I cannot complain!”
