Nice old school Motel. Parking tight but manageable. Good clean area. Did have a noisy neighbor.

I recognize that a beach "resort" at the Jersey Shore is not likely to be as "resort-like" as a beach resort in Cancun, but if this was a resort, then a motel with a vending machine is all-inclusive. I just needed a decent room for a few nights, visiting my sister with a house nearby without enough bedrooms. I had a decent size suitcase and was assigned room 118, "across the street and around the corner." Well, 118 is on the second floor and there's no elevator. Nor was there anyone nearby to help me lug the suitcase up the stairs. While I was there, I killed several ants around the sink, the AC rattled to the point where sleep was difficult, and the outlets were so worn out that none of them could hold a plug. I actually dreaded going back there every night. When I left, I politely explained these things to the woman at the front desk who seemed concerned and took notes, including my phone number, telling me she would let the manager know. A subsequent phone call would not have solved the problems, but it might have prevented me from writing this review.
