The hosts, Katy and Olivier, were both working in England for many years at a high quality and popular hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. Katy's family owned this Yorkshire hotel and Olivier was the head chef. When the family sold the Hotel, Katy & Olivier returned to his native France and then the Maison du canal du midi was born.
