The location of the hotel is amazing: right by a shuttle stop to Mont Saint-Michel, with amazing views from the restaurant, terrace, and some of the rooms. It is also right beside the damn which offers a space to relax and to watch the sunset. We had a garden room with a view of the top of the Abbey and lots of greenery around. The room was large with a nice balcony. The bed was also large (maybe a king?) and comfortable. The hotel is quite dated though, mostly evidenced by the badly stained carpets. The staff in the restaurant were very nice. The ones at the front desk were hit and miss. Breakfast was ok.

The position is amazing with unimpeded views towards the mount. The walk to the island from there is flat and easy if you enjoy walking or you can take the free shuttle bus which stops right outside. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we had a wonderful view across the fields to Mont Saint Michel.

Worth the views!

The hotel is quite run down with on going renovations. It was clean enough if you don't look too closely. If this hotel was anywhere else, you would be unhappy. But! It has the million dollar view of Mt St Michel. Observing from the deck or dinner table was amazing. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, which was all very good. Great service!

Absolutely the best place to stay if visiting Mont St Michel. The view from the room was stunning, from the restaurant even better. The bus and walking board walk was right outside. Cannot fault the hotel at all.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast Buffet was excellent. Quiet room even on restruction times. Very unflexible with errors on date at bookingtime without sold exorbitant cancellation taxes. Even a one day change 3 Minutes after a booking 3 month before results to no flexibility to correct the error... cancellation taxes are much too high.

Relais St-Michel has the major advantage of being the only property with view on the Mont-St-Michel. The restaurant staff was lovely, the room was very comfortable. Main area for improvement: the carpet in the common areas, and the hallways in general are really dirty and need a serious clean up. All in all, highly recommended for a stay in Mont-St-Michel!

The staff provided the best service I have ever had at a hotel. After I mistakenly paid for a room with a queen bed rather than the double twin beds intended, the staff changed the accommodations so I could keep the room's view... all in a politely, friendly manner with perfect English.
