“Absolutely loved the owner!!! She was warm and served homemade breads and amazing coffee with breakfast!! The hotel is a renovated family home in a beautiful rural area and has the feeling of an old farmhouse. Outdoor areas weren’t quite ready for use. Local city (Caltigirone) is a 15 minute drive.”

“We left after two nights because this might be the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. When reported to the front desk, we were met with indifference, so two days passed with a backed up sink. The shower was the smallest I have ever encountered - 20 inches by 20 inches (.5 meter x .5 meter). The lukewarm water dribbled out - barely, meaning that it was very difficult to rinse the soap off. “This is an oasis of quiet. An old farmhouse, beautifully appointed. They will make dinner and breakfast for you. There is a lovely restaurant-bar area. You can walk a little ways in the woods. There is a pool. It was a relief to spend two nights here away from the cities. The mt etna park is just 23km away. Perfect!”
