“A very nice hotel, nice staff, good breakfast, clean rooms”

“We enjoyed the spacious rooms, the cleanliness of the entire hotel, and the friendly staff! It’s location on the Hillsdale campus was incredibly convenient.”

“The owners and staff are very nice and the breakfast was great!”

“Loved the coffee machine and friendly staff”

“It was an awful experience”

“Faulty electric outlets- hairdryer & bedside lamp did not work. Sheets were stained on 1 of 2 beds. Limited breakfast options.”

“Low budget choice that isn’t fit for most travelers. Rooms are old and cosmetic upgrades are well beyond needed. Poor lighting in room and had no access to turn heat on. This place can be a good choice if trying to save $, but be prepared to rough it!!”

“I have stayed here before and had great experience. There were a couple of snafoos when I arrived but everything worked out in the end. The stairs going up to my place were not ideal but I survived. I want to thank Rebecca for all her help and kindness. I want to thank the wonderful Kenton for coming down the next morning to do a great job getting my room in tip top shape. And last but not least, Scott. He came down from the Pub to reset my lock to make sure I would be completely safe. I……

“Quaint homey feel.”

“Great little place”

“The place appeared unkept on the outside. There were cigarette buts on the walkway and the tiles were broken. I thought it was strange for a bed to be in the living room and the second bedroom had a table and chairs in it. The bathroom lights were bare light bulbs. It’s an old house and needs some fixing up. It was adequate for our needs.”

“Make sure their elevator works. It did not. We were there 3 nights and no one came to work on it. Carrying a lot of luggage, or having small kids, or a Sr with you, this is a huge problem!! USB plugs were not functional. The outlets were worn and loose and barely held a plug. Breakfast starting time was 45 mins late on Sunday, that’s a problem when you have an agenda to keep and planned on eating on site before your departure. The staff was friendly and apologetic. The elevator issue was……

“Staff was very Friendly & helpful. Rooms are very nice & updated. Parking close. Breakfast Cafeteria had very very large variety along with Gluten Free Options -go hungry:)”

“This was the most disgusting hotel. Pictures do not show how dirty the place is. We ended up leaving and the staff was unhelpful”
