"It’s not a bad property but needs some maintenance and updating. The front desk staff was wonderful. Our rate included breakfast, and honestly we should’ve just bought it from the cafe. They didn’t have enough help. So the buffet was half empty and what was there was cold. We were never even offered water or coffee, and I had to go find silverware myself. "The only reason I didn’t give the amenities five stars is that there was no mini fridge in the room. Outside temperatures were in the 90’s during our stay and keeping bottled water cold required surrounding it with ice in the ice bucket. The ice machine worked great, though."

"We stayed in the suite and it was perfect for our family of four. The property has been beautifully restored, with key details preserved. The staff were very helpful. Lots of comfort touches such as warm cookies delivered to our room. Beds were comfortable. Everything very clean. No choice on breakfast. Danishes and cereal were put out, but the main meal was chosen by the staff. Location was very close to downtown. We would absolutely stay here again."
