“Loved it all ”

“It was a great stay. It was clean, cute, and the host was available, but not overbearing. I do wish the main bed had been softer, but we were happy.”

“Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail.”

“What a great find in the mountains. The cabin was clean and cozy. We loved the view and the surroundings. This is a great place to stay at if in the area. I recommend this stay for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the scenery.”

“We were very graciousy welcomed by our hosts who also were kind enough to provde us with some goodies as well. This was our second stay at this charming cottage. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and only wished we could have sat on the covered porch while we were there. Would highly recommend and hope to return again soon. ”

“I was enchanted by this property. Having a pool, bar, restaurant was much less important than sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch with a blanket. The property was beautiful. I really enjoyed talking to the manager. He was very helpful and gave me information on the history of the property. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. I will be staying here again when in Waynesville. An absolutely beautiful property.”

“I usually stay at another chain hotel. They used to be my favorite until I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. This place truly made me seek out another Holiday Inn Express express on my vacation. It was exceptionally clean. The bean to cup coffee machine was a game changer. It beats out other coffee I've had at other places.”
