Great Hotel with staff that know how to add value to a stay. A little out of the City but 5 mins walk to Metro that puts the City Centre minutes away. Good neighbourhood.
Breakfast included isreally good too. I cant fault the place.
We stayed at the Tribe for a week for our visit to Lyon and were very happy with it. The staff was extremely kind and friendly and went out of their way for any requests we had. If you're staying in the Croix-Rousse area, this is a great place to stay.
Nice hotel with many details that made our stay more enjoyable. Professional and helpful staff. Hard to find the entrance and the parking garage due to construction.
Brand new hotel with a really nice vibe. We booked the suite and really liked how big and comfy it was. The hotel is very well located: shopping and restaurants are just a few minutes away. Would have loved to test the hotel restaurant but it was closed on Saturday. We however felt that the breakfast could be improved: There is not a lot of choice and we had to wait a lot for the food to be displayed. Still an overall good experience!
the hotel was amazing - som logistical problems on arrival and departure at the reception - and a barman/chief of restaurant that treated some other guests pretty rude which meant we decided not to take any meals at the hotel.
Great new hotel. Well finished, stylish. Biggest issue was overly hot rooms. After enquiring we were told that AC doesn't run during winter and to open windows. Problem is the windows do not stay open with the curtains shut and no one should be opening windows in winter, so I struggle to believe the eco credentials of the hotel. Also an in room note to guests would be better than leaving them to figure everything out. So cold outside, but sweat like crazy inside. The only thing to ruin impression of the hotel as the stay were great.
I returned to my room after a day in Lyon & discovered that my room door had been wedged open. My room had been cleaned with nothing more to do. No staff were nearby which concerned me - I looked to find staff to ask why my room was open and was unable to find someone for a few minutes.
Once I found a member of staff, I asked why my room had been left open, noting my discomfort at the fact that passports and items of value were in the room (I had walked straight into my room & stayed for many minutes before continuing to look for staff, & was not confronted on whether it was my room - & did not need a key card to enter. This confirmed that anybody could have entered my room without detection & taken my belongings and that the hotel is not safe & secure).
When I had explained this to the cleaner (via another member of staff who translated me), the cleaner shrugged & it was translated back to me that my room was fine & it had only been a couple of HOURS since my room had been cleaned that morning. They did not care & offered no apology.
I complained to reception, and while they were more apologetic, they lacked sincerity & I had the stark impression that they wanted me to leave them alone.
30 minutes later, my door opened again & another cleaner walked in, despite my room being clean & having confirmation that nobody would enter again. The following morning the room opened again 2 hours before the checkout time.
The hotel offered a low, & unacceptable level of compensation
