“Staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Everything was clean and fairly modern. Even the guests were pretty nice. No one was loud at night (that I could hear anyway). Only negatives: the one bed mattress sunk down a lot. I had 2 beds, just used the other one. Also, there was only an cloth shower curtain that didn’t block water and water was on the bathroom floor after my first use Next time just pointed the shower head towards the shower wall. ”

“A most interesting old hotel with all its quirks (which are clearly identified in the check in notebook) and historic features. Staff were very helpful and friendly. One bit of advice - ask for room with no one above you, either living or restorng, if possible so you won't hear their footsteps night and day. As the brochure says, sounds carry in this all wood hotel. Definitely worth a visit!”
