"What I want most from a hotel is a clean and quiet place to stay. This met both those criteria. And..you could easily walk to the Corning museum! It was interesting to be awaken by the Corning workers time blasts, a remnant of when these sound blasts would tell workers to get up and get going to work. We had a view of the river and the other side of town. A hour out to dining at The Cellar across the river (also walkable from the hotel). "

"I love the stuff at this property. They were welcoming and quick check-in. They did not have any rooms available for early check-in, but that wasn’t a big issue. I would just say for the outside it might need some weeding and the trashcan in the back was in a need of empty."

Breakfast was also a nice bonus, and they serve coffee beyond that, until noon The property is a bit dated, but it has quite a bit of character, the price can't be beat. A good experience overall, will be back when in the area. "
