“The location is nice. I like that there’s off street parking. The space was private and mostly clean. Decor was nice. Minor complaints are that the dishwasher is moldy and doesn’t smell great. The bedroom tv wasn’t functioning. There was also hair left in the shower and some dirt on the floor of shower. Water pressure in the shower isn’t great and the shower itself is pretty small, especially for being handicap accessible. Beds were comfy, linens were nice. There were extras like a bag of snacks……

“Very responsive host. The property was very well appointed and recently renovated. Excellent location and proximity to all of the local attractions. The property was clean and everything was in working order.”

“Great location, clean, and suited us well. Beds were not very comfortable.....lumpy is a good descriptor. There was an issue on the number of bathrooms that ended up a non-issue as staff quickly clarified the count when questioned. I would have gone 5 stars everywhere except for the beds and the difference in baths between VRBO booking and the Heirloom welcome email (vRBO was 2, welcome email from host showed only 1, but staff said the VRBO info was correct and Heirloom made the error).”

“Clean, modern and a great place in every way!”

“Absolutely excellent stay. Location was perfect. Loved the French doors that open to the outside.”

“The Captain's Quarters was an amazing place to stay for a week! Super clean, comfortable beds, amenities galore, and within walking distance to everything in Canal Park. Communication with the host is excellent... always available to answer questions. Highly recommend staying here for your Duluth vacation!”

“Everything we needed was there! Property was beautiful and clean!!!! Located close to everywhere we needed at night to walk. Host was very communicative and even sent us updates of local happenings in the area. Would definitely stay again!!”

“Liked the location. I didn't read the description well enough to catch that it was upstairs. Struggle getting luggage and grandma up the stairs. Bathroom had an oder...not sure if musty from the washer??”

“My husband and I travel frequently and all over the world. This may have been the best short-term rental we have ever stayed in. It was meticulously clean, the decor was elegant and upscale, and all the little extras that make short term stays easier: coffee, tea, cream, sugar, flavor syrups, olive oil for cooking, plenty of dishwasher and laundry supplies, even Q-Tip's, and a curling wand were all provided! There were dozens of games and puzzles provided, as well. The location of the condo……

“A beautiful place to stay in a stellar location. We will be back!”

“This condo was perfect for our stay! It was just me and my daughter and we felt very safe - the neighborhood was cozy and the door to the entire unit had a lock with a code. The view was gorgeous and the condo had everything we needed to cook our favorite meals.”

“No complaints. As expected.”

“Grad trip, end of a Girl Scout era, birthdays, the girls had a great time and were wowed as soon as we walked in. Everything was clean and neat and the kitchen was well stocked. Location was everything and we never had to move the car, walked everywhere around town that we wanted to go. Close to late night eats, with so many choices. Pool was easy to access and front desk was helpful as well.”

“Beautiful property, loved our stay. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful this is not it, but if you are looking for convenient, view of the lake, and lots to do it was amazing! It was perfect for what we wanted.”

“Very clean”

“Perfect size for our family of four. The space is modern, clean and comfortable. The location is GREAT. We really enjoyed the easy access to the restaurants, beachs and walking/biking trails just across the bridge.”

“We absolutely loved our stay. The space was exactly what we needed since one of the individuals is handicapped and she could not do stairs. The zero entry worked perfectly for us. We also loved the location. It was fun to watch the big ships come in. The host was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Duluth.”
