Everything about this riad was perfect, from the friendly, helpful staff to the lovely, well-maintained rooms. Private meal service is available, too, offering delicious home cooking. Travelers should note that it's about a 15-minute walk to the central areas of the medina. This is important if you're planning to stay out past about 9 p.m., since the gates to the central area close and options for walking back are limited.

The Grand Riad & Spa proved a fabulous, tranquil space, amid a very frenetic city. Although a 30 minute walk to Djemaa El Fna (just 10 minutes to Jardin Majorelle), we very much enjoyed staying within a local community. The rooms were immaculately clean & the beds were very comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious but, by far, the highlight of our stay was the team. From arranging our airport transfers & the warm welcome on arrival, everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Choukran bezzaf.
