The reviews made me nervous but I thought it definitely had redeeming qualities. The grounds are quite pretty and there’s lots of activities for kids and adults to do to pass the time. My family stayed on resort most of the week. The pools and water slides are pretty cool. The kids water park is great. The kids love it and it feels pretty safe. The riu land kids show every night after dinner was an awesome way to end the night. The kids loved it and played with all the other kids and danced around. Super cute. The food was ok. It’s not as bad as people made it sound. It’s comparable to other all inclusive mediocre bland buffet food. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies. It didn’t make any of us sick so that’s cool! Towards the end of the stay we saw the crowd take a turn. Before it was a bunch of chill canadiens and families. But then a surge of 18-21 year old American spring breakers checked in and it did harsh my mellow a little bit. Although they didn't keep me up at night and were not directly mean or aggressive to us. Just annoying. Lol Overall we had a good time and I would consider going back."
