“The house felt like home ”

“There were plenty of beds and space. It was clean and comfortable. it had plenty of dishes, and we appreciated that there were laundry facilities. It was an easy drive to all the places we wanted to get to in New River Gorge National Park.”

“I'd like to start with, we appreciated a place to stay. Id also like to say had it been warmer my grandkids would have at least been able to play outside. So the yard being there was nice. We did each have a space to sleep.We did experience quite a few issues.Upon getting to the property the front door was not secured, my daughter got there first with 3 little kids, so she waited for me and my husband to get there so my husband could check the peoperty before going in. I did contact the owner……

“Property was exactly what we were looking for- a separate bedroom and living area. My husband is usually up before me on vacations so it's important he has some place to hang out without waking me! Bed was VERY comfortable! Best sleep I've had on a vacation. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Nice full size fridge/freezer. Bath towels were a little on the small side. Could use an additional shelf in bathroom for makeup (I don't travel light!). TV was an issue- it's Roku so we couldn't get any……

“Went into my room and there was food left in the fridge, I've built up on the freezer door and couldn't open it. Hair on the bathroom floor. One of my friends that was traveling with us went into their room the bed was unmade, the TV on . And and mold in the room. Very dirty and terrific to stay. Will not stay again.”

“This is a beautiful independent apartment attached to the owner's home. It is well stocked, very clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It is in a very quiet area, reasonably easy to access, yet not far to town. The host is very responsive so communication is good. There is a washer/dryer in unit (bring your own detergent). The kitchen is nice and fully stocked, though we didn't really use it. The king size bed was very comfortable. There are lots of windows so good light comes in,……

“My granddaughter and I were traveling it was perfect for the two of us. It was close to our venue. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.”

“The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable beds and plenty of towels and a great hot shower. Excellent hot tub but a little exposed to the road and neighbors.”
