“This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot……

“We had an amazing time staying at Allercott Farm. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very peaceful at night, and you’re right in the middle of Exmoor so you can drive for around 20 minutes any way at all and find yourself at one of the many walks. Hosts were awfully lovely, as were their several friendly dogs who were keen to say hello. We’d absolutely consider staying again sometime to visit more of the national park. 😊”

“Great base for exploring the beaches of North Devon. We had a lovely week. The house is really well stocked, especially the kitchen. All the bed were really comfortable and the house had a really good layout with lots of space for breakout areas (great for adult and kids).The front garden was secure for dogs and small children. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.”

“Had the most incredible stay once we arrived at the house. So stunning with endless views, fantastic rooms, the most comfortable bedding and everything was spotless. I would absolutely love to come back and would potentially recommend if they were to change their management company.The management was impossible to get hold of. No responses for weeks on end, even after calling and emailing. I had to put a complaint into VRBO to finally get one response and then silence again. They told us there……

“An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!”
