“Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. “A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together. There were just a few things we thought to mention: 1. No WiFi came as a huge surprise. Personally we (and probably most) assumed there would be wifi. We would’ve really appreciated this being explicitly stated. 2. There was practically no communication from the hosts, just an empty email with a pin on……

“We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. Would recommend and will be back for another visit. Thank you”

“Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities.
