"Our first woodfired hot tub and 'no tv' experience. This allowed us to completely switch off and enjoy the surroundings, trees, birds, we even saw a badger! - our husky was very curious. A lovely hut, bed was really comfortable and plenty of storage for our 2night break. We used the gas hob/oven to cook our evening meals, enough crockery etc supplied. Lovely touch by hosts providing milk, bread, butter chocolate and a couple of G&Ts."

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"The superb cabin at Ffos was perfect for our week long stay at the Open Golf at Porthcawl. Facilities spotless and beds very comfortable. So relaxing in the hot tub after long days walking and lovely peaceful surroundings with local deer grazing nearby. Communication with Corraine was great and really helpful resolving our internet access very quickly. The welsh cakes and nibbles on arrival were a lovely touch. We will definitely recommend this fab cabin to our friends and family. "

We booked as a nicer home base alternative for doing activities in Snowdonia (we are one couple for reference), and safe to say we got way more than we could have imagined. The view is to die for, the cabins and pods are very well equipped, and again the host was incredible. The little touches (like putting fresh ice packs in the included cool box to keep everything fresh, and putting wood in the hot tub so it was warm every afternoon) did not go...
