“Idyllic setting with beautiful views away from everything with great hosts! We loved it!”

“Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome……

“We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. “Apartment advertised as 2 bed and 2 bathroom but only one bathroom in the property which was an issue as booking was only made on the basis that that there were two.”

“It was a wonderful day. The hosting family are fantastic. The house is incredibly located to all the natural visitation sites. I woke up one morning and walked down to the Glenfinnan viaduct approximately 1/2 mile do it first light and the bridge belongs to you and the red stag that showed up as I was approaching the bridge two of them actually the hotel next to the home has an amazing catering staff book a reservation. It does get busy but well worth it. Food is quality and the location is……
