“This is an outstanding hotel. It was constructed 25 years ago out of concrete and rustic native wood overlooking Last Hope Bay. The hotel deservedly won architectural awards for its forward looking eco-friendly design that enables the hotel to retain 58% of the incident sunlight in a climate in which this is a highly desirable feature. The staff were friendly and the food was outstanding. ”

“Breakfast is good and the Star very helpful. Shower is also great; hot and pressure. The only point is about the room that doesnt have any place to Store the Clothes. ”

“Hostel El Refugio had all the comforts of home including a warm hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable beds with fresh linens in a private room, and private bathrooms. My visit was during fall when temps were colder. The hostel was always warm after a day outdoors. The owner Luis was very kind and accommodating, making sure you have everything for a perfect visit. ”

“Lee and his wife made our stay here incredible. They were so kind and gave excellent recommendations for shops and restaurants in town. They made the entire process smooth including the airport to hotel transfer, check in, helping coordinate taxis for us, gave advice for our hiking in Torres del Paine and provided wonderful breakfast and amenities. They truly gave us peace of mind on our trip that we were going to be taken care of! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! ”
