“Excellent! I can only speak for the room i stayed in as there are 2 more rooms. My trip was with my wife of many years and so this is from a couples point of view. As a New Yorker where customer service is top priority, this place checked all the boxes. The staff was professional and courteous, room was clean, alot of space and the location was great. You take less then 2 mins to the beach and less then 1 min to bars and restaurants. My wife did mention the sounds in the morning from the birds……

“Our group of 6 stayed at Villa La Estancia the first week of April. Everything worked out really well, the oceanfront 3 bedroom suite was perfect for our group. We were literally right on the beach! The suite was very comfortable and well appointed. We did have an issue with the hot tub which worked the first night but then overheated. Maintenance was attentive and attempted to repair several times but to no avail. Allan was good to work with on booking the property and helped make the check in……

“The Rufugio del Mar was a beautiful property. We stayed in building 2 which only had 7 units. They all had their own kitchen and bedroom/s. The staff were super friendly and the pool and gardens were immaculate. I would recommend staying on the second floor if possible as the lower units can be a little dark and do absorb a bit of noise from the above units. The location is 2 blocks from the beach and the property includes free beach chairs and umbrellas. They also provide free top of the line……

“Everything was perfect right from the time we booked this hotel. Check in was seamless, staff is super friendly and the whole property is spotless. We had a family suite on the bottom floor and it was perfect, lots of room for our 3 young kids. There is plenty of bottled water on each floor, a good pizza shop attached to the building plus a convenience and beer store less than a minute walk up the street. It is a great place for a family, laid back atmosphere and fairly quiet. The pool was warm……

“Very disappointing hotel for the price. We were initially checked into our hotel, to find many of listed amenities were not actually included/working (TV, A/C,Safe). Further their included toiletries must only mean soap, as there was not shampoo or conditioner. The site lists 2 pools, yet one is a private pool only available to the Main-House suite. Privacy is a minimal for the balconies and windows. 3rd floor rooms are located right underneath a rooftop hot tub, which makes for……

“PROS - location was very walkable to the beach, close to the main road, and the room was similar to the pictures CONS - I'm fairly certain I got some bites from something inside the room (I had the normal bug bites from outside, but something I think in the bedding gave me a strange rash all over my body - not bed bugs, but something else, unless there was something in the ocean that did that) ; location is also a bit in the cuts ; it's close to the beach, but in a rural area (I had no issue……

“The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place.”
