"Staff was friendly and responsive. Our room was beautiful and well equipped and cleaned daily. The beach was lovely and the cove provided protection against the winds other beaches were facing. The waters were clear, and we saw a lot of sea life just outside our door with goggles! Parking was easy and close to our door."

I just don’t understand why Vrbo has to charge a security deposit for two and a half months before the start of the trip and two weeks after. "As everyone has commented Janet and Sam were AWESOME hostess/host. Janet would go out of her way to answer questions to make your trip more enjoyable. Sam went out of his way to video chat with us when we took a wrong turn on our walk to Secret Harbor Beach. Two Sandals could use some updates, but the view and location were AMAZING. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time on the island of St John NP due tot he close proximity to the Red Hook Ferry. We did not rent a car so most of our travel was by foot, taxi from the airport and we did experience the local Safari bus, even taking it to the airport for our return flight. If you want a glamorous resort with all the amenities; look elsewhere. If you want a small hotel with a laid back atmosphere, then this is your place."

"This place is amazing. The view, the privacy, the beach are all exactly what we hoped for. The beach is a 7-10 minute walk. It is a steep walk down but we were able to drive people down and drop them off when couldn't walk. We tried another beach and only stayed a couple hours because secret harbour was way less crowded and calmer water. Couldn't wait to get back. The house was extremely clean. Host was very helpful. Location was close to everything we needed. We would choose to stay here again vs trying anywhere else on the island. "

"I will start by stating that Ana, the host is VERY accommodating for all of our needs. They went out of their way to get decent beach chairs (which weren't there upon arrival) However, I must point out that the photos listed showing the view from the unit as well as most of the unit are horribly wrong. You CANNOT see the ocean. Your only view is of trees blocking that view shown in photos (Those photos must've been taken many years ago) The only thing you might see is some of the tennis courts through the trees. That is it.. We booked it primarily for that view and were thoroughly disappointed in that. The unit needs updating. The grill outside is nearly impossible to use. It is not the wide weber pictured. They replaced that with this very low budget grill that is impossible to control. Much of the outdoor furniture is weathered-nothing like those photos. The walls are thin and we had the great misfortune of a bunch of college kids partying late for a few nights. You WILL hear the neighbors. Our relatives booked a similar unit in that complex -closer to beach and with a beautiful view-and it was much nicer all the way around. "
