"The staff is what makes an average Marriot stay great. From the doorman to the housekeepers all were friendly and very helpful. The facility has long distances between the hotel and amenities. The rooms are average and dark, including the bathroom. Tried the Italian restaurant and waited over an hour for the main course. I would not come back."

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views.
The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening.
Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful!
We are planning to return in 2027!"

"Amazing spot. Located within walking distance to Sapphire Beach. We had such a great time and found ourselves ready to go back to the condo early many nights "

"The property was nice, but didnt think it was "Ritz" quality. Our walk to the pool was via a path with exposed dumpsters and the beach was inaccessible due to the seaweed. Not the Ritz's fault and they offered a shuttle to other beaches, but still degraded the experience. Would have been nice to have a shuttle into restaurants as was a significant expense for 5 of us to go 5 minutes into Red Hook. "

"The room was dark and depressing and the second bedroom looked like a low rent apartment in Los Angeles. There was one, unremarkable restaurant at the hotel and no room service. Breakfast entailed walking across the property to a deli/mini mart that was akin to airport food (mostly grab and go). Tons of staff driving empty shuttles around, but no room service and minimal housekeeping? Housekeeping only comes every other day and, so, technically, only came once during our 5 day stay and didn't...

"Location was great-short walk to beach. In walking distance to excellent restaurant. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Could use some maintenance updates. Overall it was a great place to stay. We communicated directly with Chris! She was very helpful it getting us settled and giving info on beaches, eateries and sites to see. Would recommend to others."

"Beautiful property, gated and private property. Lots of walking, breath taking
views from the balconies. Not enough restaurants on property. Pool rather small, beach was nice."
"Room just steps from a very clean beach with chairs, umbrellas and water included. Would have been nice to have a little more information upon check in. (Took 3 days for someone to let us know about the complimentary water) probably due to the check in Staff uninterested attitude. Everyone else including the check out staff were very pleasant. Room cleaned daily and always stocked with fresh towels, coffee and tea. "
"The Infinity pool with swim up bar setting was fabulous. Food was good at the restaurant and the drinks were very good as well. Will definitely stay again. I do wish there were more golf carts available to transport you to your room and a softer bed. A hot tub would be nice too but for the price it's a good deal and a pretty location."
"Breakfast was always fresh during my stay, and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, one thing left me disappointed. I had booked this trip for my honeymoon, but on the day I was supposed to fly out, the airline canceled all flights to St. Thomas. I called the hotel and spoke with someone at the front desk, who transferred me to the manager. I hoped they could offer some kind of accommodation or flexibility given the situation, but they didn’t. They said that because the room was held for me, it counted as a no‑show, even though I was fully prepared to travel and the flight cancellations were completely out of my control. It made an already stressful situation even more upsetting."
