Biking the Greenbrier River Rail Trail

"From beginning to end, my husband and I, as well as our goldendoodle, Fig, had a wonderful experience at Patricia's cottage. It is perfectly situated right on the Greenbrier river rail trail, midway along the trail, which is why we chose it. The cottage is adorable. The beds were all very comfortable and the home is well equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed early morning walks on the trail as well as hiking at Watoga SP and up at the Cranberry Glades. We had never been to Marlinton before so it was fun exploring this cute little town along the river and enjoyed really great food at Alfredo's, Dean's Den and Dirtbean. We totally enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back."

Cozy but Roomy River Cabin

"My husband and I were looking for a place to stay on a river for Memorial Day Weekend. This was the perfect spot! Private community on the Jackson River…the river is right out the back door! We relaxed on the porch and just listened to the water roll by. When we were ready to eat the kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed. Time for bed meant choosing between 2 rooms each with its own private bathroom. There was plenty of room for us to do our own things when it rained- tv, games, books were all there for us to use with plenty of space to stretch out. We had a wonderful time."

Entire house on a remote sheep farm , tended for 45 years

Met all expectations

"The house and property are amazing the craftsmanship of the house was outstanding. It was definitely lived in with many personal touches but we felt at home. Dan was very helpful in locating all the places we wanted to visit. The directions on how to find the house were spot on. The entire stay was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend staying here and I hope to come back for another visit"
