The owners are friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our room was lovely and we slept well. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The property was next to the Homestead so it's an easy walk if you book activities through the resort. We got the opportunity to unplug and relax in a beautiful, clean, historic property. It was delightful dining at the huge table and talking with new people. On our trip we enjoyed the mineral baths, hiking, swimming in the Jackson River, and a local hard cider tasting. All the local restaurants serve fresh, tasty homemade foods. Been to Bath County many times in my life and never did the B&B thing until this trip. Vine Cottage Inn is usually all booked but we caught them at just the right time. Tammy was very welcoming and let us move from the third floor to the second floor due to the number of stairs and hard for us to climb. The kitchenette is all you need and open 24hrs. Baked cookies, water, soda and hot tea available all hours. Fresh coffee in the morning, with a wonderful breakfast with eggs, ham, and a biscuit with butter and jelly. The bed was very comfortable! And the pedestal tub was great for soaking those muscles.
