“Donna and Keith are the most perfect hosts you could experience. The grounds and rooms were beautiful and immaculate. The house is right on the lake allowing you to have a swim with towels generously provided along with lovely Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Our hosts were always helpful and accommodating. Everything was beyond perfect!! Don’t get me started about the breakfast. It was unbelievable!! Way beyond my expectations. Crepes, omelettes, fresh granola, scones… all freshly prepared……

“The staff here are wonderful and always helpful. The property itself is older, so while they are working on updating and maintaining, a lot of it is dated or needing minor repair. For example, there used to be a swimming pool but the previous owner filled it with dirt. The room we were in has a great view of the river and a patio that opens right in front of the dock, which was lovely. However, the room itself was dated and needed a deep clean and the plumbing was obviously old. The beds were……

“Totally wrong booking. We were searching and trying to make the booking of Jasper. How could it go through to this hotel? And there's no email address for us to contact...So sad experience.”

“Room was clean, updated, and spacious. Beds were comfortable enough. Like everywhere else, the pillows were frustrating. Pool was refreshing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking in front of your room.”

“This motel is welcoming, convenient and clean, with comfortable beds. Parking and air conditioning are good, as is the tv. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and would recommend.”

“While the booking was completed on Expedia, I then had to complete a pre-booking through the hotel’s check in app... then complete the actual check in on the same app,.. then show my ID to the attendant when we arrived at the hotel. It seems an ‘automated process’ should be less work, not more. Between this, the list of prescribed instructions for our stay, and the need for ear plugs for the overnight train passing (adjacent to the property), I suspect we’ll not be back.”
