"Our room was very pleasant and comfortable. We were in the back building, so didn’t have a view of the ocean there. But we could drive out and across the street with the beautiful ocean from Anchorage and. We were there in December and when we came back at night the whole Resort was done with beautiful white lights. So beautiful to see. All of the staff was so kind and helpful and made you feel welcome.. They weren’t very hard to maintain the beauty of the resort and make the clients happy. I have always wanted to stay there and I finally did. it was not disappointed in anyway. I would love to go back in the summer with the ocean view, but not sure I could afford it. Love the resort and everything about it."

"Jay and the manager were wonderful! Funny, full of great information, and they made us feel so welcome and at home. The french toast bread pudding at breakfast was delicious, the Ship Pub is so fun for happy hour, and our dinner at 1637 was delightful with a beautiful view. We added the cheese/fruit/cracker plate to our room and it was so yummy and perfect for late night munchies!"
