“The house was adorable on the inside and had everything we needed. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of some safety issues with the stairs. The steep stairs to the attic lack a handrail and the older members of our family didn't feel comfortable going up there. I was nervous about our 2 kids going up and down those stairs as well. The 2 sets of steps leading from the kitchen and dining room into the living room are scary too. The second step is short and the edge is curved making it……

“The lake was beautiful, but the property didn’t feel very clean (stained cloth furniture, spider webs). The quality of the pots/pans was awful for what I paid for the rental fees and not much was provided for disposables like tissues, dish soaps. “Absolute Gem near the lake! While the location and cute caboose of a house was amazing to stay at, the Owner, Shannon was the Rock Star!! We had an extended stay of two week, she brought Fresh Linens and towels frequently and made sure the Trash was emptied regular twice a week. We had Fire wood, Charcoal Brickets and lighter fluid also. It was an amazing two weeks. Becky and Don,who run the Offut Lake resort were amazing.
