I've been to Costa Rica five times, and Trogon Lodge is by far my favorite place I've stayed. The location in the beautiful San Gerardo de Dota Valley is absolutely breathtaking. No nos fijamos q la habitación q reservamos no incluía aire acondicionado y la verdad nos hizo mucha falta, pensamos que por el precio era obvio que lo tendría. En la segunda noche nos trajeron un segundo abanico.

“We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”
