There are many sightseeing and dining spots in the Namba Station area and Shinsekai area near Hanazono Station in Osaka City. Some recommended spots are listed below.
1. Namba Underground Shopping Center: One of the largest underground shopping centers in Osaka, Namba Underground Shopping Center is about 2.6 kilometers long with about 200 stores. With a wide variety of stores, including fashion, general merchandise, and restaurants, it is a spot where visitors can enjoy themselves all day long.
2. Namba Takashimaya: This large department store offers a wide range of products, from brand-name goods to daily necessities. There are also restaurants and cafes on the rooftop, where visitors can enjoy a meal in a stylish environment.
Tsutenkaku Tower: Located in the Shinsekai area, Tsutenkaku Tower is one of Osaka's most popular tourist attractions, standing approximately 103 meters high. From the observation deck, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka City. There are also many restaurants and souvenir stores where visitors can enjoy local delicacies and sundries.
4. Shinsekai: A shopping district with a typical Osaka atmosphere that stretches around Tsutenkaku Tower. It is popular among tourists for its food stalls selling kushikatsu (skewered pork cutlets) and takoyaki (octopus dumplings), as well as for its many restaurants with a unique atmosphere.
