“The room had a distinct sewage/mildew smell. Extremely prevalent in the bathroom. I contacted the front desk immediately, and was told " it's very common there, and I should open the window, and run the shower simultaneously, and that should help with the smell a bit". The front desk also brought down a bottle of disinfectant to " help with the smell". I also was never informed before or after booking that the pool was unavailable! The hotel claimed it was on their website, but I booked……

“We had a very nice stay at Heidi's Inn. Staff very informative, pleasant, and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern. Our kitchenette was stocked with necessities. The pool area and atrium with that huge fireplace were very pleasing as well. Many amenities close by as well.”

“Loved our stay at the historic Thayer. My one consideration for the future is that there were a lot of events happening at the hotel on a Saturday and it would have been wonderful for Zulu or Pattons to be open earlier. We didn’t have any places to congregate while we were waiting for shuttles so the lobby became fairly crowded. Minor in the scheme of things as it really was a wonderful property.”

“The stuffs are very nice, room is clean and new, it’s safe that elevator is limited outside people to take. 24/7 hot water and Starbucks coffee, it’s need to 6–7minutes to go to Danbury Fair Mall.Trader Joes 3minutes. That’s great! ”

“The property is very old and dingy. I found the rugs to be dirty and the bathroom was moldy around the tub and shower. The TV only worked partially continuing to go in and out. I requested to change rooms and they did accommodate me to a better room. More than likely it is my last time at the hotel, even though it is very close to where I want to be.”
