“This was the loudest and noisiest property I have ever stayed at. Our room was right next to the main entrance and just a few feet from the registration desk. The lobby was an echo chamber. We could hear every word of every conversation that took place at the front desk or in the lobby. As a result it was impossible to sleep after about 5:30 a.m. The noise was constant throughout the day. “The best part of the stay was the view, which is possibly the best from any location to the east of the reservoir. Otherwise, do not expect much in the way of frills. The cabin was clean. The bed was not really comfortable and felt more like a sofa bed. The fireplace (with poorly-designed chimney) does not adequately exhaust smoke from the cabin. My guess is that it would only work for a one- or (maybe) a two-log fire...anything more overwhelms its capacity for exhausting smoke. The stay……
