“Our hosts Randy and Arlene were helpful in suggesting places to visit.Location was great for visiting such places as Halifax,Chester,Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.Cottage was beautiful inside and out,spotless and all the amenities one needed.The view of St Margaret’s Bay from cottage was amazing!We would definitely recommend this cottage as a perfect place to spend time at.We hope to return again! “Our host was lovely. She provided suggestions that we appreciated. The place was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen and bedrooms are upstairs which was fine with us, but may not be for some. The kitchen area and fridge are small which posed a bit of a challenge because there were five of us.”

“We stayed here for three weeks while our home was being remediated after a fire. Holly was great to work with and the location is great. We found the shower pretty small, but overall it’s a lovely property with a nice outdoor space.”

“This clean, roomy suite was perfect for our group of 4 adults. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It looks like there might be a typo in the VRBO listing - it says there are 2 bathrooms but there is just one. Otherwise, a great place to stay in the Halifax area.”

“We cannot give enough praise to this place and our hosts, Arthur and Flora. We were greeted by Art and Flora who immediately came out to help us park our trailer. Then we walked into our place and oh my goodness it was perfect. It’s spacious, clean, nicely decorated and they have not forgotten one thing. The view is spectacular, it was close to everything and it was simply wonderful . To cap it off, Art and Flora are the consummate hosts. We felt so comfortable and so welcome. We did not want to……

“I loved the location, the apartment has a lot of room and the kitchen is great. I had two minor problems and the landlord dealt with them that day which was excellent service. There was just a couple of little things that would have made the stay much more enjoyable which are easy to implement. Because of only the one bathroom, it would have been nice to have mirrors in each bedroom so the ladies could get ready in their rooms. Also, there was only 3 bath/ large towels and our group ended up……

The location is outstanding and the view out of every window looks like a picture postcard. Peggy's Cove is the quintessential seaside fishing village and we loved every minute of our time there. We would love to come back and stay again!”

“My wife and I loved our stay; the ‘tiny house’ was wonderful; lots of room, cozy, welcoming, and tastefully decorated. It has a small wood stove that creates a very peaceful romantic space where you can be quiet with your thoughts and enjoy the peaceful sound of a crackling fire with your loved one . At same time, the accommodation has everything needed, and Bill and Sandra were helpful and welcoming at all times. “So restful and an astoundingly gorgeous location. Couldn't be happier with the stay, the house, the area, and Phil gave such good advice! We had a glitch with the stove (our problem, not the stove) and he popped over to straighten us out in a flash. Finding the place in the dark was a bit of a challenge; if you have cell coverage, it should be fine. Otherwise, it is wise to examine a map very carefully before you set off (in the dark).”
