“The Shepherds Hut was fantastic. Friday night was great. Romantic as we wanted. Very cosy!Saturday night was ruined somewhat. A couple of power cuts forced a move to a larger accommodation, although good, lost the tranquility of the Shepherds Hut. Neither of us slept very well, both finding the bed in the new accommodation most uncomfortable!We left Westerland @ 1000 am, both wanting to get on with the rest of our weekend.”

It was ideally situated to visit sights such as Uppark, Arundel, Petworth, Midhurst, Pulborough and Chichester - all within ,30 minutes drive. “It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit.”

“On arrival it was a bit dark. No lightning to cabins. I think maybe solar lightning or something!! Stepped into cabin it was nice and warm as picked the coldest night of the year so dar to turn up. Host left lights on so we could see inside. Bathroom was great, double bed comfortable nice thick duvet as it was cold. Kitchenette was just the right size for the cabin. “Caravan was very clean and had a lovely homey feel to it. Everything you need for a break, making for a very comfortable stay.
