“The lady might have been the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel during my years of travelling! The accommodation was very nice for that price point. Was just looking for a place for a good deal with clean sheets, and it was exactly that. There’s no front desk there so it’s best to message the property before arriving. I didn’t realize this until I got there, so walked down the road to KFC to get wifi and message. She replied within minutes, then came and picked us up in her car and drove……

“Room was perfect with lovely sea views and a large bathroom with a bath with sea views - bathroom does need a little updating but we didn't notice it. Location of hotel was excllent with beautiful views of Le Morne and the lagoon”

“Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenhalt in diesem Hotel. Die gesamte Anlage und der direkt anliegende Strand sind sehr schön und super gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war sehr lecker, man bestellt à la carte. Leider gab es jedoch öfters ein Durcheinander mit den Bestellungen, was zu längeren Wartezeiten geführt hat.”

“The welcome at Awali was excellent. The all inclusive starts when you arrive regardless of check-in time and it ends when you leave even if you checked out the room hours before. This worked quite well for us as our flight left at 9pm. The concierge is a gem who makes things so easy to do and has really good communication. The restaurants were fab. I did take heed of previous reviews and brought sea shoes which helped us enjoy the beach much more than we would otherwise. The beach is more for……
