"My recent stay at Edsa Shangri-La Manila was truly outstanding and exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. The hotel is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and tranquility in the heart of Metro Manila. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The lush gardens and resort-like atmosphere provide a peaceful escape from the busy city and create a unique experience that sets this property apart. The dining options throughout the hotel were excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality cuisine and exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was professional, courteous, and eager to assist, consistently demonstrating Shangri-La’s renowned commitment to hospitality. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction. Whether interacting with the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff, or concierge team, the level of service was consistently exceptional. EG PRIVATE HOUSE - SERVICE APARTMENT HOTEL

"The unit itself was beautiful. It was my children's 1st time in the Philippines, and my husband & 1 haven't been back for 20yrs so this trip was special. Some friends in the U.S. mentioned staying at BGC since we didnt know anyone in Manila and will be taking taxi here and there if needed. I'm glad I got EG Private House- unit was in Uptown Parksuites II. It was amazing- 3 BRs, 3baths, and another toilet in the laundry room. It was great for us and my 13 &11 yrs old boys. You could actually have a 5th person is needed, as there was another bed and a couch in the main bedroom. Each room had a beautiful view of the city. There was welcome items in the kitchen (such as ramen noodles, load bread, crackers, chips, juice, drinks) when we arrived. The girl who assisted us, sorry I forgot her name, was very responsive & guided us to our unit on our arrival and departure. The only thing I wasn't so happy about was 1 room where my younger son was, had swear words & inappropriate photos. I understood each room had its own character, but since different guests of all ages may possibly be there, it should be more appropriate for all ages. Our bed in the main room looked like it broke a few times before, it was glued together with brackets to keep it from falling apart. Other than that, it was a nice stay. We got calls from rhe service desk daily asking what time we wanted our breakfast to be delivered. Mega World Uptown Mall and Mitsukoshi Mall was a walk across the street. Area felt safe"

"Pretty solid choice. I am extremely noise sensitive and the hotel is on a very busy street so ask for a high floor quiet facing room. I could occasionally hear some traffic but didn't bother me so probably won't bother you. Very powerful somewhat loud aircon and like most hotels the control panel was hard to figure out but I eventually did and got the fan low enough to not be noisy. Why not just a low medium high fan switch and a dial on the side to set the temperature? The hotel adjoins a very large nice shopping mall. Other than that not much action in the immediate neighborhood. About a 12 minute walk to the elevated rail line which is underrated if you are going to where it goes. At rush hour it's a lot faster than a taxi and not that crowded. If there is a motorcycle taxi it would be 3 minute ride. You might consider downloading Grab which is their version of Uber but you pay in cash not credit card so no data security risks etc."
